Regarding AU ideas:
For Richard and Kahlan I was thinking of exploring their darker personas. Richard's would be his inner rage; think of the episode Fury from season 2. Kahlan, obviously, would be her blood rage. So, basically, I want to explore a scenario where our heroes become the villians.
And for Darken Rahl, I'm thinking about digging deeper into that alternate universe finale back in season 1. Where Darken Rahl gives Kahlan an ultimatum to be his wife. I'd like to fill in the pieces of what happened between the time she accepted his offer to when he sentenced her to death. Another idea could be that he breaks her and she becomes a Mord'Sith, which enables him to use her powers as he wishes.
