Cassie and her brother are future AU. They're Sam's kids (I usually am playing them dragged from their reality into one where their uncle and dad are still alive since they were created for a defunct verse but I have too much fun playing them). I would personally enjoy having them interact with a normal Dean and Sam. Right now they're interacting with a Demon Dean and a Sam that said yes to Lucifer far before season 5.
Their past I have set as kind of a one night stand because of a backfired witch's spell. In their canon they saw their dad and uncle every now and then, when they were close enough to visit. The twins became hunters to spend more time with them after their mother died.
They wouldn't be looking to replace their Dad and Dean, but they wouldn't mind familiar faces to interact with. Especially Cassie.
