Sophie is Rico's ex. They started out at MIT together, were friends and it blossomed into more. She was dangerous. There was an explosion and he saved them both. Didn't save them both being booted out of MIT.
Oliver is the best friend and the leader of the team. He's the youngest of Rogue and Remy and while in canon he's dating Megan Frost-Summers, that is of course flexible with rp bendage and all.
The comic isn't the best thing that Marvel's done, but it certainly has potential.
