Your Muse: Erik
Muse wanted: Robert Frobisher. The idea is that instead of hiring himself out to Ayres, Robert answers an ad for an amanuensis and moves out to Paris to work for Erik. Erik will, of course, put him up in a nice little flat and pay for his expenses, and Robert can publish his work under a shared pseudonyme that Erik will provide for them, since both their reputations are a tad tarnished.
I feel like Robert would leap at the opportunity and then, gradually, want to break out on his own. It could be fun to see where this relationship between them goes. Not necessarily romantic or sexual, but I wouldn't say no to that either.
I will also note that I play a Rufus as well (halfdoneaffair) if Robert ever wants to write/visit/complain about his weirdo employer

Fandom: Erik is from The Phantom of the Opera, mostly the book but I'm knowledgable with pretty much any version of Phantom there is and add it in as a whim.
I've both read the book and seen the movie for Cloud Atlas so whatever you want to use for Robert is fine.
Canon: Pre-canon for Robert works best, I think. Post-Christine but pre-retirement for Erik? I'm flexible.
