I feel like I probably played with you way back in the day, since there were like three of us Shakespeare folk XD
EITHER WAY I SUPPORT THIS PLOT IDEA and I will just offer Hamlet as a wacky sidekick or something. Either while he was studying abroad (pre-play) or like, when he was kidnapped by pirates or something.
Heeey! Did you play at Milliways, by chance? That's where I did most of my Tybalting, but I might have tossed him into some other comms as well. There were not enough Shakespeare folk! There never are. :(
But yes! I would SO love Wacky Sidekick Hamlet, and if pirates are involved, all the better. I'm sort of imagining this plot as being a little bit like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, only...with Tybalt and Mercutio and more hating each other. So Hamlet could fit in just fine.
I did not! I've been mostly in and around sws for the past few years, but before that I was at a place called desperatefans. I've HEARD of Milliways, tho!
Ahaha perfect. Hamlet escapes the pirates and lands in Verona. To perfect his uncle killing scheme, since that hasn't been going well for him so far.
Awesome! I'll tag back tomorrow, then, now that I've finished my presentation I have to give in a few hours. Hamlet wreaking havoc on Verona is an awesome idea.
