Alex is a character that just sort of sprung into my head as part of a verse I've already done a bit with, and he's very new. He's 36, the really wryly cynical deflect-emotions-with-humor type, a recovering alcoholic, and teaches history/coaches girls' soccer at a high school.
I had this vague idea for a storyline where his team has this intense rivalry with another school's team, which leads to potentially-romantic friction between Alex and the other team's coach (if said coach is female. I'm also open to platonic friction-that-becomes-friendship with a male coach.) Alex is protective of his students, so if the rivalry between the kids gets ugly, it would give him and the other coach a lot to talk/argue about.
Alex's ex-wife would also be fun to play with. I don't have many ideas about her yet, only that she exists, so that would be entirely up to you and an interesting dynamic to explore.
I'm open to anything, though, fandom characters included--I'd just like to play around with him and get a feel for him and build some CR.
