I was discussing the lack of decent dark and fresh plottage as of late with a fellow mun, and sort of spun this up. Because I'm a childhood ruiner, and I never really bothered with the fairytale-esque RP until now.
In essence, a Sin City style fairy tale, in which Alice is drawn by the "White Rabbit" (could be a drug, a club, or a person) into a maze of a city, and cannot find her way out. The streets are run by the Red Queen, and her associates, who probably have no regard for a lost girl at the start. The Mad Hatter could be a Breaking Bad type dealer, I'd imagine curiously well meaning, if hardened and erratic. And the March Hare, his completely screwed up and over friend. You could equate almost anything in the Wonderland world to something dark and creative. The flowers to prostitutes, the cards to thugs, the Jabberwocky to a rival leader and enemy of the Queen, the Cheshire Cat is a mysterious cab driver, whatever. The darker, the better.
I would be interested in the March Hare, perhaps, or the Mad Hatter.
