Aria is the eldest child of former a UK wizard rocker Kendall "Ken" Jaymes (he was the guitarist of Horcrux Hollow) and a American witch Kassidy Jaymes who is a solo bluegrass/country artist. She has a younger brother Harper Beckett, who goes by "Becks." Was in the US (largely New Orleans) from 8 to 13, at which point her father was in a bus crash (that killed two of his band mates) and then began living in the UK/transferred to Hogwarts. The family later opened Resonance House Cafe to help up and coming/struggling musicians. Aria works as a waitress/shift-manager there, while also songwriting and attempting to make it big; though she is hesitant.
