Not sure if I have any suitable Muse for you right now - all of mine are predominantly comic based - but this is an amusing idea for a muse there, kind of a teen version of A-Babies vs. X-Babies.

Oh, and if they had a Mascot... Rocket Raccoon ? Stan Lee would clearly be the Janitor of the school.

A-Babies vs. X-Babies is one of the greatest things ever. EVER. Especially the little warning in the front where it's basically like "You just bought a comic that is basically baby fight club, go think about your life choices".

I am all for having a rival high school made up of X-Kids or hell...even DC kids. The more crack, the better. Though I guess by rights, the X-Kids all go to the snooty private school up on the hill. So we could have multiple school and this could become a THING. I'd be down.

Stan Lee is totally the janitor. Because that is how Stan Lee rolls. And ooooh. I do like the Rocket Raccoon idea.

Ha, yes, I was lucky enough to get it for free over on Comixology when they were doing the 700 free #1 comics thing last month which ended up being way too popular and shut down, so absolutely. Wee Cap is quite adorable, actually, I'd be tempted to pick an A-Baby or X-Baby and muse them if I didn't have WAY too many Muses already.

I could see there being an Xavier Institute for the X-Kids, so yeah! Would end up wondering where the non-X-Men and Avenger characters like Spidey or the Fantastic Four would go though. I could see Tony and Bruce being part of some nerd teen group with Reed Richards, Henry Pym, Hank McCoy and the like. A DC school with teen versions of Bruce, Kal, Diana and the like would also rule.

Stan Lee is whatever he wants to be because he's THAT awesome. Thanks, given the Guardians of the Galaxy Movie is coming out I guess it makes sense to highlight characters like him.

Me too. And trust me, I understand about having way too many muses. They're not all active, but I probably have 300 or some at my disposal that I've collected over the years.

Hmmm. I could see it being split that everyone who is predominantly an X-title character goes to Xavier's (So X-Men, X-Factor, Excaliber, etc...) and everyone not predominantly an X-title goes to Goodman (Avengers, Fantastic Four, Spidey, etc.). And then the DC kids are over at their school (probably Wheeler-Nicholson). Then you could have the various cliques and cross-school rivalries.

It's true. There is probably no one as awesome as Stan Lee. And it does. It totally does. They may now officially be The Raccoons. With their mascot, Rocket.

Oh jeez...now you have to wonder what the other two schools have for mascots. This is becoming way way too much fun.

Like Phil's life isn't hard enough.

Phil's life is never hard enough, but Phil takes it all in stride because he is Phil Coulson. SON OF COUL. And you know he has always wanted to be Mr. Feeny. When Supernanny isn't on, he switches to MTV and old episodes of Boy Meets World.

He only watches BMW because he can relate to Mr. Feeny

It's things like this that result in me wanting to make more and more muses.

Although I think I'm going to end up going for a DC school kid. Not sure who though.

Yeah, I think I may be going with Hal Jordan, but the question is, what is the stance when it comes to abilities and powers and all that stuff? It may not mean much to Hal and Natasha, but it's definitely going to affect some of the other muses that come in.

Hmmm. My first thought was that powers and abilities would, for the most part, be null and void. Or would manifest itself in some other way going mostly the normal route. Like...Natasha here might still be an excellent gymnast...because she studied it when she was younger but she's obviously not a super spy. Banner might have anger management issues. Two Face might be bipolar. Loki might be a computer hacker/master prankster. Stuff like that. But if people have other thoughts, I am open to them.

I'm going to try to (while at work doing nothing productive b/c my Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase One box has been delivered and is sitting at home waiting for me) get a comm up today that has the basic premise of the town and the three schools...maybe some hangouts in town...cause I'm feeling plan-y. So if anyone has thoughts on any of that, give them to me.

Well here's Otto, all your Parkers and other brain boxes may or may not be gaining his approval at Goodman in Physics. :)

Bwahahahaha. Oh god. That poor man is going to end up with Parker, Stark, and Banner all in his class, isn't he? Reed too. That's trouble right there.

He clearly gets a teacher of the year award.

And at least he doesn't have Tasha, James, and Clint?
