So the idea I have in my head is this: Time passes quickly Aboveground. It has been years since Sarah's ordeal in the Labyrinth. She's moved out of her father's house, earned her college degree and she is now a theatre teacher at a high school and pursues stage theatre when she can. She believes she dreamed up the Labyrinth and has not thought about it in a while.
In the Underground time passes more slowly. Jareth's defeat by Sarah has inspired rebellion among the Goblins. He has been overthrown and exiled. He ventures Aboveground to bring back the person who can help him. The person that started this ordeal in the first place. Sarah.
Ideally, I would like to move towards a romantic relationship but this isn't required. UST and snarky back-and-forth are good enough for me. This won't come easy, though. Sarah will need to be won over.
