One day Steve noticed something was very wrong with his island. Oahu was having a string of assaults, which included people being bitten. Hawaii Five-0 had no choice but to try and stifle the crimes, and that's where it all started. Steve, Danny, Chin and Kono all parted ways in order to protect their families. On the mainland, Steve gave up looking for his sister but never gave up hope that she was someplace alive. Now in the South - where he had heard of a safe and secret colony of survivors - Steve wanders alone, carrying a few trusty weapons, food and water.
