I'm playing around 10-12 years post-movie, with a grown up Brandon who now writes for the show. He's mentioned in passing that there's a new captain and crew, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't effing love to meet up with CAPTAIN TAGGART [& co.] again. (What? So he has a bit of a mancrush. Who wouldn't?!)
But there could also definitely be some OCs ...new actors, writers, directors, etc. Just fun in a world where you NEVER GIVE UP -- NEVER SURRENDER!!!!11
I'm setting this in a world where there's a few differences from the real world. One: aliens. They're not well-known, obviously, but probably the cast [and crew?] know about them, as does Brandon. Re: movie events. Two: no Star Trek. It doesn't make sense for ST and GQ to have both been a big thing, so maybe Star Trek had a half of a season before it flickered out.
