Ok, I'm trying this again. Elle needs friends, clients, and colleagues. There's also an idea that I've been thinking of but I can't do it alone. It's for a special client. Elle normally represents people who are innocent and wrongly accused. I want to do a storyline where she believes a client to be innocent, and gets them acquitted. But then he or she kills again and starts taunting Elle because attorney/client privilege prevents her from revealing what she knows. It makes her doubt her ability and wrecks her self-esteem. The client can either end up coming after Elle or just tormenting her until someone else stops him or her.
If you don't like that idea, she still needs friends, colleagues, and regular clients. I want to make her more active. Crossovers are cool too. Lots of different people could use lawyers.
