Your Muse: The Creature

Muse wanted: Anyone. Literally, anyone. And fandom, any time, any place, any thing. I have a wonderful Victor that I play with, but I'm open to other 'verses. If you wanted a romantic line with him that's fine too, but mostly I just want him to make some friends.

I do sort of want to put him in a Game of Thrones AU, if only ( Read more... )

Love the story, have only seen clips of the play - by all accounts it's great. I've been thinking about setting up a musebox/game of some sort for 19th Century personages to play around in. If that sounds interesting to you and others, I might get around to it. The Dodger is also happy to run into the Creature in SWS, if you fancy it.

A great deal of my characters are 19th Century, since I love the Romantic/Victorian era, so I would totally be agreeable to it.

Aaah I want clips of the play I can't find them on youtube anymore. Give us our DVD ;_;

Could I ask who else you play from this period?

I used to play a Victor, as well. Sherlock Holmes, Dorian Gray. A Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde that hasn't been dusted off in ages XD

So when I say 'a great deal' I may have exaggerated but -- I do play a handful.

Dodger's my only Victorian on LJ, but I've dabbled with Dorian and Sherlock as well. Guess we're on the same wavelength there. Been thinking about Jack the Ripper as well but I'm not sure how to have him interact with people besides slicing them up.

I play several serial killers, and they've had some fascinating conversations. Serial killers are characters beyond just -- slicing people up. Besides which, Jack only killed prostitutes. If he's not talking to a prostitute, why would he need to slice them up? Serial killer characters don't exist just to kill people, no more than say, Dodger exists to rob people, or the Creature exists to go RAWR at them. They're each individual characters with thoughts and feelings and opinions.

So go for it, just make sure you flesh him out beyond "He slices people up", or you get a boring character.

Yeah, I suppose. I just meant if I were to play him as more than a shade from the dark I'd have to pick a characterisation, a suspect. I'd find that difficult - there's plenty of good ones.

And oh, hey, dropped out for a long minute there. Sorry 'bout that. Now LJ's gone and changed on me, too.
