So, a while back, I was dared to take a comic character and try and save them from the unbelievably stupid portrayal they made of them. My pet project was this guy, The Rawhide Kid. Not many people may know of him, but he was basically an Old West hero that was reimagined being gay. Marvel being the derps they are, this was the result. And it only gets worse. So, I worked my magic, kept the gay backstory, but changed just about everything else. I think I'm proud of how it turned out.
What I'm asking for are other terrible comic characters to be given a makeover for great funtiems. I want your tired Red Bees, your poor Matter Eater Lads, your huddled Brother Powers, yearning to breathe free!redone so that people aren't rolling their eyes when they see them. I'll even take re-imagined characters that aren't so lame, just to see what people come up with.
