Are original characters allowed?

Yep, OCs are welcome as long as they fit the feasibility requirement.

That she does. Nat's been an FBI Agent from the very beginning.

The more fibbies the better!

I need to edit in some info about OCs on the app page (I kinda forgot about that when redoing the app. Oops.) but the app is pretty straight forward if you want to look it over and see if you're still interested in joining. The only real difference would be instead of providing a link for the history, we would need a written summary.

ETA: I forgot to mention, if they're OC from a particular canon/verse, a link to that canon's wiki in the history section would be helpful too.

Just out of curiosity, how long do the writing samples have to be?

Same mun, different journal.

They don't have to be very long. At minimum about a paragraph or so of solid writing for the first-person samples. Double it for the third person. Just make sure it's enough for us to get a good grasp of the voice.

How did you want me to submit the app? Comment to the app post or email it...?

Yep, you just reply in the comments. They're all nice and screened.

Okies. Took four comments, but it's all there. The writing samples ate my brain LOL

Lol! Yeah, writing samples have a tendency to do that to people. Or me, anyway. And yes I got the notifs just now. I notified one of my fellow mods, and she should be looking at it in a little while.

Good god, you're fast, girl! It takes me a ridiculous amount of time to do apps, I swear.

Yeah, sometimes having a loud muse can be a blessing and a curse. And I'm really looking forward to having a verse with her where she has to keep her abilities under wraps.

I think it'd be nice to have some quiet ones. But that might just be having a head full of females.

What kind of abilities does Nat have? I've read most of the app, but not the extended history yet.

Mostly, she's quick to heal. Things like gunshots, bloody noses, stab wounds don't last very long. It probably takes her anywhere from a few minutes to maybe an hour and a half to heal, depending on how severe the injury is. A papercut only lasts a few seconds, but something like a gunshot or broken bones might take an hour or more. I'm assuming that things like anesthetic and alcohol don't affect her for very long either. So, until someone takes off her head, she'll forever be stuck at 33.

Ohhh. I'm not familiar with Highlander, so is that typical of the show?

I ask because I'm not sure how my fellow mods feel about that. I personally don't mind, but am merely one of three, so I'm wondering (and hoping not, I admit) if having her be mortal would be a deal killer.

If memory serves, the show rarely showed an injured Immortal. So, their healing times really aren't a set-in-stone thing. It's assumed that the older and more experienced an Immortal is, the quicker they heal. So, Nat can get hurt (and even possibly die from internal bleeding or whatever) but she'll bounce right back relatively fast.

Ah. Okay. I'll be sure to relay that information. If they ask. I'm not even sure they'll be bothered by it just want to cover all bases, y'know?
