Jonas is from a very near alternate future. After another crash of the nation's economy, a Virtual Reality game known as Avalon was released. Think about Call of Duty or any other First Person shooter mixed with elements of games such as World of Warcraft or Warhammer Online. There are guilds and alliances, betrayals, and hundreds of other quests to see and do here.

What sets Avalon apart from other games involving human interface is that the responses one feels in-game are transferred to real-life experiences. If you swim, you can actually feel every property of the water. When you smell that rose, it's just as sweet as the real thing. Pain is very real. And death? Well, there's a reason why this game is so cutthroat.

Asher is a member of the guild known as the Night Stalkers. They're not the best, but they're quickly rising through the ranks, and have made themselves very rich in the mean time. The Stalkers trust one another implicitly, and when in a match, petty fights are thrown on the wayside.

The Night Stalkers are:

Claymore citizencode13: Scoundrel class. He specializes in pistols and light machine guns when in combat, as well as various stealth techniques to gain a tactical advantage or move to a goal with more ease. Claymore seems a bit suave in-game, but is very much agoraphobic in reality.

Jacknife: Warrior class and the leader of the guild. Her ability to remain calm in even the most dire situation have pulled their asses out of the fire more often than not. Her specializations are in explosives and mid-range rifles.

Trauma: Healer class. If it can be patched up, she can fix it. Usually the voice of comfort to Jacknife's cold tactics. A high-class healer that has actually been able to reverse otherwise deadly effects from the game.

Anvil: Tank class. Heavy Weapon and armor specialist. While not the smartest guy, Anvil's willingness to be the battering ram and wall for the rest of the team has never made anyone doubt him. Often confrontational with other team mates. He views it as all in jest; no one else does.

Barret: Marksman class. Has managed to specialize in every pistol and rifle type in game. He operates from the rear, taking down what would be tricky opponents while the others work their magic at the front lines. Often aloof from the others, preferring to act, then tell what he'd done after the fact.

Other characters, AUs from established fandom, people wishing to play game NPCs, bosses, or mods would be great.
