The Specialists are a private special investigations team based in present-day Los Angeles, founded by Nat Bruenner and Kit Pryde. They deal with humans, demons, ghosts, monsters, mutants, etc. The Specialists are available for hire by anyone willing to pay the price. They are highly sought after, both by individuals, corporations and governmental agencies, for their success rate and special skill set. Originally strictly a duo, workload and demand is now prompting Nat and Kit to expand the team. Anyone with a special skill or ability who could be an asset to the team is welcome to join. Whether you’re in it for the glory or the money, we don’t care as long as the job gets done.
Members of the team are independent contractors, paid per successful mission. They do not have to go on every mission, or even live in/around LA. Travel to other areas/cities is common, transportation to mission locations from headquarters is provided. Team members are encouraged to have “real” lives, cover identities and jobs outside of the team, and should feel free to recommend potential new team members to Nat and/or Kit.
