I've got Sansa here. I can play her wherever works best (I'm mid-way through book 3 at this point, so that shouldn't be a problem).

That would be awesome! I wish there was some way they could have seen each other after Ned's death D: ... or somehow been able to communicate when Arya's on the run with Yoren or at Harrenhal...

I knooow. 'cause seriously, Sansa would take all the support and love she could get. Even if it was Arya.

Hmm...

I wonder if it's feasible that Sansa sees her being taken by Yoren after Ned's death...so at least has a vague idea of where Arya might be going...idk it would probably be too dangerous for her to communicate w/ her though...

Or post-Harrenhal, she somehow winds up back at King's Landing -- like is captured by Lannister forces or something and is taken back as a servant...wherein she'd inevitably see Sansa...but would also have to keep out of the way/try not to get discovered...

IDK, just throwing stuff out there...I'm also definitely up for playing pre-Ned's Death stuff...

Ooh the second one could be awesome! Though I feel like Cersei and Co would recognize her. We could also just hand-wave that, too.

Hmmmm...Well it would obviously be AU...so she could go unrecognized for a bit (I see her going back to being Arry for this)...Like, if she was working in the kitchens or somewhere else out-of-the-way initially, I think it could be less likely that Cersei&Co. would see her, at least at first...

And then at some point there could be issues with her getting recognized...

...why do I have the feeling that like, there would be one or two people who WOULD recognize her but for their own reasons wouldn't mention it (at least immediately)? *cough*Baelish*cough*

Clever, clever.

Yeah, Littlefinger would keep his mouth shut and use it to his own benefit later. Obviously Sansa would be quiet. So it's mostly just a game of Stay Away From People Who Would Recognize Her/Don't Do Anything Stupid.

I'm really loving this.

Now I want a Littlefinger.

...I can so see him trying to be clever with her like he is with Sansa...and Arya's just like, *kick to the nuts, runs off*...

Hahaha seriously. Arya wouldn't take any of it.

We shall have to find one!

Yessss.

So since she's wearing the Flayed Man of Dreadfort on her shirt when she's captured, most likely (since she was wearing it when they left)...they'd take her for a Northerner, but not a super-serious threat...and maybe by the time they reach King's Landing, news of Roose's defection hits so then she's not the enemy and she's just sent to the kitchens or whatever without having to go before anyone or pledge anything...

Smart! And it's not like she looks like a threat/probably had any loyalties anyway, because she worked in the kitchens and Harrenhall's changed hands so many times...

Exactly! I edited this post to point toward this thread, and asked for a Baelish and any others who might be interested in an AU based on what we've been discussing. Heehee.

I was thinking they could run into each other in the godswood -- since we know Sansa already goes there...and Arya if I remember correctly, slipped away there to practice when Syrio was teaching her...if that's incorrect, it seems like some place she'd sneak off to anyway, since it's got her father's gods and it's rarely visited by others.

I think she did.
Anyway, sounds perfect!

Yay! I can set something up in Arya's journal, if that works.
