Thoughts: So, I was inspired by notachav's post because I've been watching Misfits and I'm obsessed and since I love to cross Claire over with everything, I figured this would be perfect. I had a couple of threads with a couple of Nathans and thought I'd better watch the show, and I haven't been disappointed, I freaking love it, so I had to try and get some crossover action going. I'm not finished with it yet, I still have some episodes left in the second series, but as obsessed as I am I will have them all watched very soon.
My main idea is that there's a new Company (which, if you're not familiar with Heroes canon is basically the group that monitors/studies/captures people with abilities) and they hear about this storm and how it's given people abilities, and so they want to investigate. But rather than bag and tag as they did in the past, they decide to send someone over to hang with them and learn about them. That someone, of course, would be Claire. She'd pose as an American who moved over there with her family and was "acting out" and maybe committed some stupid crimes to get sentenced to community service. From there she tries to befriend the group and learn as much as she can about them and their abilities so she can report back to the Company. This of course is to prevent them from having to be brought in and tested or whatever. She could become friends with them and then maybe her own ability is revealed, or the fact that she's pretty much a spy - I figure there's lots of places to go from there.
Otherwise, she could just be there and meet them and interact with them that way, maybe she researches herself about the storm and decides to go investigate on her own. She could be on vacation and have a chance meeting with one of the kids, I am really up for anything. Though honestly, I'd love to see my idea come into play if enough people were interested.
I would especially love to find a Nathan, since he and Claire are both immortal and I love the idea of him annoying the crap out of her. (And the couple I had her interact with was what pretty much drove me to check out the show for myself!) Yes, I ship them, so Nathan would get laid, eventually. Bonus, right? The rest of the cast would be awesome though! I imagine she would get on pretty well with Alisha. Just... come on out, Misfits muses! You know you wanna. :)
