Fandom: Beauty & the Beast
Canon: Sort of. Basically, it's a modernized/humanized version of events... Lumiere, Cogsworth, etc. are all human, but the curse still applies - it's just a little different. They're all trapped within the castle, and if it's not broken in time then they'll all die. I'm thinking the Beast could have certain traits that make him, well... beast-like, without it being as extreme as it was in the movie.
Book, Movie, Game, Other: Movie, although you could take elements from the books if you want.
