Muse wanted: The Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Dormouse, the Duchess, the Gryphon, the Mock Turtle, the King of Hearts, the Knave of Hearts, the Red King & Queen, the Red Knight, the White King & Queen, their daughter Lily, the White Knight, Tweedledee, Tweedledum, Humpty Dumpty, the Lion, the Unicorn, the Mouse, the Duck, the Dodo, the Lory, the Eaglet, Bill the Lizard, and the Rabbit's apparently Alice-like housemaid, Mary Ann, as well as a variety of flowers and assorted cards, chess pieces, or other characters. Maybe even the dreaded Jabberwock, or Alice's older sister (whose name is presumably Lorina, but it's completely up to you since it's never actually mentioned in the text)?

Fandom: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There (for the purposes of simplicity, we're assuming the two are just different sections of Wonderland).
Canon: Loosely - takes place ten years after the books.
Book, Movie, Game, Other: Books, with influence from the movies and other media.

My Alice is seventeen, ten years older than she was when she first entered Wonderland, but still clings to her childhood sense of whimsy and continues to visit her magical world. The various Wonderland people can all appear human now (maybe even have human names, if you'd like), and it's up to you whether or not they're still dismissive of her or have warmed up to her over the years. Alice is intended to be based in Victorian London (instead of Oxford, gasp!), so period PBs and implied historical settings are nice, but seeing as the denizens of Wonderland exist outside of reality anyway, it's entirely up to you.
Naturally I'd love the Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and the Mad Tea Party, but I feel like there's a lot of potential in expanding on lesser known characters as well, like the two chess kingdoms or the Gryphon and Mock Turtle. Of course, I'd really just be happy with any castmates. The idea is to sort of create your own interpretations of each character, but versions of them based in other canons are welcome too, and I do like duplicates.
