This is one of the mysteries of the show to me -- did Brian tell Justin he loved him on that first night? I've always thought no, because Justin lies constantly at that stage in his life, but I've also thought it was a possibility.

"Brian doesn't know what it is about this kid, but he feels like fucking sunshine-hot, glistening, and inescapable."

I was always curious about that myself. I mean, considering how completely fucked up Brian was, I don't think it's impossible. And it would provide a nice balance to the series (which the writers/producers seemed to stress like whoa). I'll take Justin's word for it. :)
