New Fic Announcement
As TYINK comes to a close in the next few weeks (or whenever Checkmated had made a full recovery, I should say), I'll be taking on a new Harry Potter fanfic project that will probably last me through 2010 (and that's if I'm really ambitious lol). While I love Ron/Hermione, I'll be moving on to some James/Lily and Sirius/Remus. The Marauders have captivated me for quite some time now.
The James/Lily piece is titled "They Who Thrice Defied", and the Sirius/Remus piece (which is untitled atm) will be it's companion, which pretty much means that they'll follow the same plot but you'll get to see two different relationships develop over the course of the Marauder's final year at Hogwarts until James and Lily's deaths in '81. I split the stories up for several reasons, but mostly because I think it'll just work better that way.
I'm really looking forward to starting these fics, and I hope those who have followed some of my other fics will give it a read. I'm not sure where I should post. If any of you on my f-list are active in the HP fanfic community and have some ideas, I'd love to hear them. I have been posting on Checkmated! (a R/Hr community) for my R/Hr fic, and while I'm almost positive I could post the James/Lily fic on there, I'm not sure if I'm going to yet.
Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out the more intricate details of Part One of both fics (taking place over 7th year) and trying to figure out how I want to format the story as well. I will hopefully have more news on it in the next few posts.
