The holidays and all that jazz

I hope everyone had lovely holidays over the past few weeks. My New Year's Eve was all around quiet, and Christmas was nice, if a little stressful. My partner has been here since mid-December and is leaving on Wednesday for the UK, hence my all around absence from everything. The computer and I have a love-hate relationship right now.

My goal for this semester is to allow myself a balance between free time and grad school, so I'd really like to get back to posting regularly soon.
