First Mother's Day
I just had to post the two sweet cards I got for Mother's Day, one from mom and the other from Brian:
Mom's:
"Enjoy every moment of your first Mother's Day. Trust me--you deserve plenty of special attention each year on this one special day.
"It won't be too long, though, before you come to know that this one day isn't really enough to appreciate everything you are and will grow to be. Soon you will inherit a few more titles other than just "Mommy." You will be "Santa," "The Tooth Fairy," and "The Easter Bunny." You will also get many more duties added to your daily role, like those of birthday caterer, chauffeur, doctor and nurse, seamstress, and chef.
"But knowing how special you are, it will be those small yet tender moments along the way--like the touch of your baby's soft skin after a bath, the warmth of those little arms around your neck, the sweet kisses goodnight, or the way your child glows when smiling--that will steal your heart over and over again. You're going to be a wonderful mother. Enjoy every moment of your very first Mother's Day."
Brian's:
"For my wife on your first Mother's Day
"Seeing you as a mother gives me more wonderful feelings than I ever could have imagined. Besides great bride, I feel a special closeness to you...and excitement about all the new things we'll share. But the best feeling if all is the love I have for you, because it keeps growing stronger and deeper than ever"
