I'll preface this post by saying that I haven't fallen this hard, this fast for a band since Muse back in 2003. WHOAH now that's out there...
All it took was one song really, suddenly my favorite radio station Bandit Rock started playing the song 'Nightmare' and I just had to hear more. Add to that the fact that one of their biggest show hosts adore them to pieces... So the last four weeks of my life have been pretty intense as I've more or less been playing their music around the clock with the exception being during working and sleeping hours.
Has anyone heard them?? Whenever I tell one of my friends about this awesome band I found they all ask me "what's that?" or answer "never heard of them" with a huff and a stern look...I mean damn! How come Sweden's never heard of this awesome group that's actually been around since 1999!?
This is for me the obvious song to force upon anyone I can:
After a first few looks I was drooling the singer M. Shadows, but that was before I laid my eyes on the absolutely gorgeous guitarist Synyster Gates...and his partner in crime Zacky Vengeance...
Which leads me to the following picspam!!
Synyster Gates
Zacky Vengeance
Ladies I give you: Zynacky! Damn, these boys make me wanna lick their tattoos and suck their lips swollen. To start with ha!
You guys get the picture right? It's like, when I get to the bottom of these pics I automatically scroll back up to the beginning again. And hey, I haven't even started gushing about their music yet. They totally remind me of Muse in the way that they're completely fearless to do exactly what they feel like. They don't care about fucking labels or being outcasts since they're not a 'pure' metal band! They mix genres in brand new ways for me, just like Muse does... It's really exciting to see a metal band mix in pop, rock, classical and even a bit of country. And A7X delivers high quality songs all the way, most of their songs are longer than five minutes!
Intrigued? Try the slashy goodness that is to be found at a7x_slashness then (I don't know why, but tagging this community does not work!).
And for those of you who wonder: no this is not the end of Belldom for me, I've just found new eye candy and I am enjoying it thurally. You should join me really! Seriously, I'm not abandoning Muse after seven years, they're forever in my heart! <3
