Happy Ending by Mika
A song that gives a pure example of what music is, emotion. From the opening chords one can tell how epic the song will be. You feel as if you've heard it all your life and the level of relativity is astonishing. Only with My Chemical Romance have I consistently found a band that whose music I could relate to as if every song were about me. Mika clearly has that same gift. Which is why this song is always close to bringing me to tears. A masterpiece from a musical genius who does nothing but create more musical masterpieces. Insanely unique and with lyrics whose dark beauty is almost unmatchable. Mika Penniman is without a doubt my No. 1 artist of this year and many years to come.
