Taking Care Of Business
Today, we figured out an art
supplies order and it should be arriving in a few days! The 12 x 12's
are in stock (finally!!!) and I bought 24 of them. So- for anyone who
has been waiting...there are more multi canvas Zen Grids in the works.
I will be offering up 2 sets (w/ 12 canvases each) sometime next
week. We ordered several 24 x 36 canvases which will become a triptych,
diptych and several faces.
I also ordered some more Golden Fluid Acrylics. Mostly earthtones, but I splurged and bought diox. purple. I wish I could just order most of their colors! (Soon...) I've been getting really amazing results, working with them. Yesterday, I completed a Diptych, using fluid acrylics for most of it. I have an organic texture going on beneath several washes of earthy colors. There's a big blue & white circle in the middle that looks like the moon.
I'm now working on the new comission. I have to figure out a multiple sized canvas "puzzle". The overall size will be around 5 x 7 Ft w/ 2" spaces in between each of the canvases. It's just extra challenging, figuring out which size canvases will fit together. Hopefully a good nights sleep and some strong coffee in the morning will help me figure all of this out!
The weather has been dark, grey and yuck. We've had several days of rain in a row and I'm getting really tired of it. Winter has been getting on my last nerve. I've been such a bear this winter. I get up early, send Malachi off to school and go back to bed. Sometimes I get up by 11am to watch Crafters Coast To Coast. But lately, I've been sleeping until noon. BAD! The good thing, though, is I make up for sleeping in by staying up late every night. :-) I usually hit my peak energy hours late at night anyways. I'm really not much of a morning person. More of a night owl.
