MAUI- IAO VALLEY

One of the stunning trees on Maui....

View from the car window on the drive to IAO Valley...

The IAO Valley Needle...it is 2,250 Feet tall! I was standing at a lookout
point when this pic was taken. We had to climb up TONS of steps to get
to that point!

I had a VERY strange experience, looking out at the needle and valley
below it...I saw a flash of white light...and then a HUGE net-like grid
appeared  all over the valley....and then I had an IMMENSE URGE
to JUMP. (later I found out that The IAO Valley was the place where
a HUGE masacre took place and thousands of people jumped or
were pushed to their deaths when king kamehameha took over
control of Maui...ugh.)

The IAO Valley is a place of great power (and sadness...). From my
personal experience, I would definately call it a vortex area. I've had
similar experiences in Sedona, Arizona.

It has a rich history, filled with Mythological stories (about a woman
named IAO falling in love with a half fish/half man...) and used to be
a place where only kings and holy men were buried. To read more
about it: CLICK HERE.

My Mom and I followed the stream and hiked off the beaten path into
the jungle...it was SO MAGICAL that I felt like it was sacrilege to take
a bunch of photos. This pic I risked "angering the gods" for and took.
The trees are SO ALIVE in this place! I see people and animals and
start to imagine mythical stories surrounding them, when I see those
trees!

Looking "UP" in the middle of the jungle...

photos, happy things, hawaii
