I make little papier mache snowmen and sell tons of them in the winter. They are more of a craft item than art cuz I make so many of them - assembly line style. I have a little tag I put on each one. Just Xeroxed on card stock, folded, tiny hole punched in the corner and tied on with white string. It reads "Frosty Friends from Wendy's Wonderland, Joplin MO, (phone number)" on the other side it says "Recycled paper and paste, sparkles and love, that's what Frosty Friends are made of!"
Didn't realize how much the tag meant to customers until I had one lose her tag and walk all the way back throught a big crowd at a craft show! LOL! I have gotten many calls and sales from people. Lots of folks think Wendy's Wonderland is an actual store and they call for the store hours and address.
Those are wonderful tags! I like the whimsy and rythym of your wording! :-) I think it's so important, to tag original artwork- it gives people contact info & helps to build a professional yet fun image for the artist.
Yes! I looked at your Ebay auctions!!! The Callaway is getting bid on- yay! :-) I hope that they start bidding on your projector & home movies soon too!
I've been SO BUSY- thrifting my butt off...I have another day of it ahead of me. Thrift...thrift...thrift...that's all I do lately! LOL...
