colors are so vibrant and the patterns are absolutely

I had a productive day at auction yesterday. Bid on lots of good stuff and won about 60% of what I wanted. I started out the day with a bang...I wanted the very first item in the sale and had to bid it up to $50, to grab it!!! Which is good, because it got my adrenaline up right away and I was on fire for the rest of the auction! (I'm a run of the mill caffeine addict...have to consume it everyday to get going...but on auction days, I turn into a manic adrenaline junkie...no caffeine in my bloodstream at auction. I tried that one time and seriously felt like a heart attack was about to happen!) Soooo...yesterday was my 3rd week, being back at auction. It still reallllly feels good, to be getting out there among people. I hadn't realized how neurotic and reclusive, I had let myself get, staying at home, painting all of the time.
As for ART- I've either been very good or very bad about it. (I think it's very good!) I've been taking my time, messing around with several canvases. It has taken me 2 WEEKS to finish one set of canvases! LOL....but that's okay because I haven't been overstressed while painting on them. (I used to be stressed out because Art was my only income...!!!) I have the upcoming week free of auctions, so will be focussing more on my art...which will be nice, because I feel good right now and am motivated purely by the need to make art and enjoy the process. (I used to be motivated by that AND the desperate need to make $$$ from it....not a good combination for maintaining clarity and mental health!!!)
