HE CLEANED MY PIPES AND MY TOILET!
Yesterday, the plumber came to visit us! I know...not that exciting for most people- but it was great for us!!! Our bathroom sink has been clogged/broken for almost 2 months and we've been waiting for the maintenance man to fix it. His first attempt....ie...throwing acid down the drain...only ate through the pipe and corroded the metal... That was back when hurricane katrina was happening. The maintenance man had family down there and was very stressed out, so we left him alone and suffered silently...and then he had a heart attack!!! So...another month went by and we were brushing our teeth and washing our hands in the bathtub all the while. Finally, the bathtub became clogged, so we broke down and called the office and they sent a plumber over right away because the maintenance man was on sick leave due to his heart problems.
The plumber was only supposed to unclog our bathtub drain, but he also noticed that the sink needed a new pipe AND he fixed the toilet's pipes AND even CLEANED the toilet!!! OMG!!! I don't even care that it smelled like a massive rotten egg fart the whole time he was here! (he used sulfur- Ewwwwwwww....) All the pipes are fixed and the water is flowing down the drain...Yay! :-) According to Feng Shui- the flow of water in a home affects prosperity. Flowing water=$$$. Stagnating water= :-( poorhouse. :-(

PS: The Art Making is moving along slowly but surely. We've had to sell everything but the kitchen sink in order to get on the road to being caught up, financially. More art will be available soon. In the meantime...it's back to dealing...ooh...I've got some good stuff to sell! I've been playing dress up with funky 80's shoes, dusting off some fabulous Stetson hats and have been unpacking boxes of vintage ornaments this afternoon! :-)
