Flashfic for darkpuck.
Skye was very, very bored.
With her parents away, and her brothers not there yet, Jeneveire was alone, and quite lonely. She had the television on, but wasn't really watching it, instead her dark brown eyes watching the window, the sun had nearly set, and she hugged herself closer, closing her eyes, and hoping that something...anything would occur to end her boredom.
It was then she heard the sound of something landing on her roof, and groaned a bit. Well...she had asked for it. From that sound though, she heard another one, and then a hard thud as something hit the ground. Skye gasped, and ran to the front door.
In the constantly pouring rain, All she could see was the collapsed form in the rian on her doorstep. She knelt down, frowning, and touching its arm lightly.
It looked up to her, its eyes widening, as it looked to her, trying to pull away. "No...d...don't...dangerous..." He murmured, his eyes closing.
Skye frowned. "I don't think you're dangerous." She said softly, and slowly dragged him inside.
He sat up, drenched, his coat acting as a shroud around him. "You're...you've...no...I can't stay here...you're pure..." He muttered, a flash of fangs being revealed as he said it.
"Oh..." Skye murmured, and looked to him. "Do you...do you need my..."
"I...I shouldn't...I could hurt you." He said, his blood-lust hitting him hard.
"You won't hurt me...please....you need the energy." She said.
He looked up. "Why...why are you being so nice?"
"...I..."
Steele brushed a few hairs out of her face. "Thank you..." He said, and then gave her a Kiss.
