January Week 2: What animal do you identify with?
When I was younger I really wanted to be a bird and like fly away where the ground couldn't keep me. Where nothing could keep me.
The flying away part was really important.
Go as fast as you can and nobody could catch you.
Which was silly of me cuz, duh, Tabitha, no one was gonna follow you. Not back then anyway.
But still. I wanted to be as free and weightless as a bird.
I'm called Tabby cat a lot. I guess I can identify with a cat cuz they're sneaky and I can be sneaky. But I don't really mind what animal I identify with as long as it's free.
It is important to me to be free. I can joke a lot and I can do dumb stuff but at the end of the day I try to help, whether I'm X-Force, X-Terminators, whether I'm just doing it as Tabby. All of us should be free to be who we are.
