Ich brauche zu schlafen gehen

Oct 22, 2005 05:58

It's 6am. On a Saturday morning. Dawn. This will not stand.

It's been 10 days since our hero's last post. He can't remember a damn thing, let alone think straight at this ungodly hour of existence.

Why am I John Cusack on this deskie board..... this is the bullest-crap ever. Becki -- why do you have to be a girl and influence Frank?

I wish the world was flat like the old days...

I went to see Mike Wallace of '60 Minutes' fame last Thursday. He's such a tough guy. He know's how to hold an audience, and he's a damn good reporter. I've always wanted to be an important figure in life, like him. Or Peter Jennings. Bless his soul.

Somehow... someway... Jacob Lahmann went to a CMU football game. And wouldn't you know it, the homecoming game! Accompanied by Elise, her friend Becky, and Drelle, I made the aggregious walk to the stadium. Then I promptly froze my genitals off. I had the sense to leave at half-time.

I played a whole lotta RE4 over that weekend.

I've got a hunger, twisting my stomach into knots

Sunday night, Brang, Tyler, and I FINALLY watched Advent Children. It was cool. Not spectacular. But leave it to the Japanese to make a graphically-amazing movie, complete with Matrix-like action. Hooray!

Yeah she is beautiful, but she don't mean a thing to me...

Will Anderson probably loved my latest, Mr. T-driven ads. Also, he apparently listens to the Monday night radio show. *Will voice* Good for you, Will! He showed us a tape of really terrible commercials; one of them just HAD to have Mr. T selling a car. Fool.

The Atlantic was born today, and I'll tell you how

I don't know why... but that line is never going to get old for me. Such creativity and thought. This is the type of song that makes me wish I would've started listening to DCfC a long time ago.

On Monday, JRN 312 went to the Isabella County Sherrif's Office. The sheriff talked to us. I shot the sheriff. Then we toured the jails. We toured... the JAILS. Never before did I feel like I was actually in a RE game as much as walking around small hallways, watching inmates stare at us. I mean... zombies... what?....

My radio shift on Monday's is gonna get better and better. I'm feeling much more comfortable being on air, as well as talking with my partner, T-Rock. T-Rizzle. T-Rex. I happily found that we both really love 311, and not only did we spend a talk set explaining our love for their live shows, but we also played a 311 for kicks -- Large in the Margin. It was awesome.

The darkest country road, and the strong scent of evergreen, from the passenger seat...

I could use some hash-browns and french toast right now.

Wednesday night the Grogg came over and, with Frankles, watched his newly-purchased Batman Begins. It really is a sweet movie. Although, I don't like how the ending is so similar to Spiderman's finish. Hero's always get screwed over.

Goal for next week (besides surviving all the tests/homework): average more than 4-6 hours of sleep per night.

Thursday night's television was awesome, as usual. Studied for an anti-climactically hard BCA quiz. The good news was that Friday's JRN 312 got cancelled. And we're gonna watch Shattered Glass all next week. It ought to lessen my burden.

And when I see you, I really see you upside down...

Only one more Honors class! YESSSS
Yesterday was especially boring/lazy. A certain female Group 19 member once again drew me a picture... this time of a showtimes Vegas dancer. Why me?

Because I was the only member of 302 last night, I went to lift at the SAC. Also, Mr. Mark Alberda, probably my best Honors pupil, brought his guitar and we had a JAM SESSION! I imparted some of my acoustic guitar knowledge to him, and he taught me Wonderwall. Not a bad exchange. He thought the fact that I always pluck the strings, instead of using a pick, was amamzing. I taught him some of Title and Registration. No, I don't have a secret man-crush on him.

If the silence takes you then I hope it takes me too...

Soon, my shift will end. Then I have the opportunity to drive home at 7:30am, to get home in time for a family photo. I plan on sleeping all day once the task is finished.

As much as I'm going to hate next week, I'm equally (but oppositely) excited for next weekend. Darren's party in the Sag, and Frank's party here. Can't wait to dress up like a tough guy!

Anybody got a baseball cap/trucker hat/something tough I can wear on my head???

So long, and goodniiiiiiiiiiight
