I know I've promised to update soon, and I will. But, first, let me tell you about Michelle at Treasure of the Earth, the jeweler friend I have who makes gorgeous jewelry with mystic topaz, in addition to other stuff. The fabulous thing about mystic topaz is that it comes in about a million different colors, and it's sort of like Alexandrite or opals - it looks different colors, depending on what angle the light hits it at. :)
