1. Injury
It was Mike's biggest fear that one day he might injure himself to the point he would never be able to dance again.

2. Underestimate
Years spent beind shy and hiding away his talents, he knew he had always underestimated himself when it came to music and singing.

3. Cute
There was nothing masculine or manly about the cute little fluffy pink bear Tina gave him for their first Valentine's Day, but it was the firs thing Mike reached for to cuddle when she could be there with him and would be hte first thing he packed to leave for Joffey in the Fall.

4. Forgive
Their first fight really sucked, but it was then that Mike learnt the importance of the notion to never go to bed angry with someone and why that, along with forgiveness, was vital in building a healthy relationship you wanted to go the distance.

5. Gossip
He tried not to get too involved in gossip, but sometimes it felt like the very walls and foundations of William McKinley High were built on it... and often completely inaccurate gossip at that.

6. Lazy
He might be a super-active person, but Mike cherished those days he could laze around in his pyjamas playing video games and eating junkfood... all the better if it was with his girlfriend or a couple of mates to indulge in the entire experience.

7. Home
Google Maps told Mike it was only 4 hours and 36 minutes drive from Lima to Chicago, but even that still felt like it was going to be worlds away from Tina when he went to college and couldn't hold her every day.

8. Pain
Mike's first ever football injury of an elbow to the nose during training which resulted in concussion was, as far as he was concerned, one of the most agonising pains ever and probably why he was one of the world's biggest candidates for Man Flu, according to Tina.

9. Bed
One of the best places in the world to be... especially with company.

10. Trust
The amount of trust you have to inject in a dance partner not to have them drop you on your ass during routines is something that is earned through hours and hours of practice and connection with them, and Mike soon learned just how much dance really was like sex in that sense.

11. Answer
When Mike got answers with acceptances from three other dance colleges other than Joffey, his proud dad cracked open a bottle of champagne to celebrate and Mike was still hit with a surreal moment of awe that his parents were actually letting him study dance and not go to med school.

12. Complete
It was cheesy and cliche, but she really did complete him.

13. Queasy
The only reason he was putting up with having Pepto shoved down his gob was because Tina was feeding it to him with an aeroplane spoon complete with flying noises and came with a promise they could make up for lost time when he was feeling better.

14. Unexpected
When Kurt's boyfriend transferred from Dalton to McKinley at the start of Mike's senior year, he never expected he would pluck up a close Three Amigos type friendship with Blaine and Puck over the course of his final year, and damn was he going to miss their shennanigans together.

15. Finally
Without Tina's help, he would never had managed to build up the courage to finally sing his first solo in front of an audience.

16. Lover
There was a time Mike thought he would never be anybody's lover, but lying there snuggled up in bed with his gorgeous girlfriend talking about everything and nothing at all, he felt beyond lucky to be able to say she chose him.

17. Morning
Althought spritely and full of beans throughout the day, Mike really, really wasn't a morning person and everyone knew to steer clear of him until he could at least manage to stop scowling death glares at the surface of his morning caffeine fix.

18. Story
Telling a story through dance was something Mike only started to learn when he began to open his mind, body and soul up to the passion of it that thrived within him.

19. Upset
Mike wasn't usually a crier, more the sort to just sit in the back and bite back his emotions to be strong for everyone else, but the floodgates opened at his McKinley graduation and he found himself having to steal one of Blaine's Kurt-ready hankies so he didn't snot on everyone.

20. Cheat
He wasn't proud of the fact that he had somewhat caused Tina to cheat on Artie that summer at Asian Camp, but at the same time, he just couldn't regret what ended up being the most amazing thing to ever happen to him in his life.

21. Grief
For those few days where Mike seriously thought his father was disowning him for wanting to be a dancer, Mike had never been more crushed with a feeling of loss in his life.

22. Failure
The 'Asian F' couldn't have come as more of a shock to Mike, but was it really a failure to put your heart wholly into something to thrive on it at the sacrifice of something else you will never love?

23. Present
The present seemed like such a cushy place to be that thinking about the future and what it would mean for him and his friends only made Mike's gut clench with nervous uncertainty.

24. Sex
No matter how much the guys talked about it, and how much porn he sneakily watched, nothing could have prepared Mike for how amazing his first time with Tina would be.

25. Happy
Something ignited and came alive in Mike when he danced, and it was what gave him the ability to see happiness in things most people wouldn't.
