So a thought occurred to me.
Almost all actors are ridiculously good looking.
So you have to be good looking to be an actor.
We assume that good actors are good looking.
But what I was thinking is are they really good actors or have we just accepted the fact that because they are beautiful and fit the sort of theme we have going with actors. Are they actually really good or have we come to accept the fact that this is how acting should be and even if their are really bad actors thats okay cause they're beautiful.
Like Johnny Depp, I don't care what way you say it he's a shitty type cast actor. But he's beautiful, so we keep watching him and saying he's a good actor even though he's really bad but then we've accepted this standard that we don't question cause hay the actors is beautiful.
Cause when I was doing stage work there were some people who were ugly as sin without caked on stage makeup but they were wonderful actors. But there's no way they'd make it in hollywood cause they're not beautiful even though they're good. I've also known a whole bunch of girls who are great actors they could run you through a hoop and you'd have no idea but they certainly don't look like some beautiful actress and I was going to name a name to make a point. But I don't know any actresses I actually like.
