One character, two secrets. Pardon my badly translated Russian and awfully written Cyrillic.

I can feel it in my boiling brain. )

Translate, you.

Oh, doh. That would've been the smart thing to do, wouldn't it?

The first: "I did this to you"

The second: "I believed in The Revolution until I joined it"

They're visually gorgeous, and I love that they're in Russian. :) It's very fitting. Is it Konstantin, then Pasha, or Pasha, then Konstantin?

They're both Konstantin. Pasha is the subject of the first, and he wasn't ever a Revolutionary (though I suppose it could be argued that he's a sexual revolution in his own right), unlike Konstantin, who worked as a propagandist until his imprisonment.

AHA!

Sorry. I had thought they were both Konstantin at first. And then I thought, "No, Pasha's got to be in there." BUT I WAS RIGHT.

I figured that.

And, yep, you were right the first time. Always go with your instinct! Or don't, if your instinct is stupid, as mine tends to be. (It also says 'One character' at the top, you know. That ought to have been a clue.)

I am, as we have seen, an idiot.

Yes, but you're our idiot. And I have no idea who was included in that inclusive pronoun.

Oh, me. I was.

I like these, by the way.
I'm a sucker for GUILT.

Callirhoe, too, probably.

And the piece only gets guiltier from where I left off. At least, it will if I ever get Konstantin off his rant (not, surprisingly, the Pasha-don't-get-sent-to-prison one. The Pasha-you-are-vain-but-who-can-blame-you? one.) and back to what's supposed to be happening. And I may not, at this rate. Bah.
