Ok, changed who I'm going as again. Now I'm pretty much decided on Miyu, of Vampire Princess Miyu. If I do change my mind...I have a feeling it won't be a big shift. Either Kanna (Inuyasha), or girl-type Ranma (Ranma 1/2). Miyu's just got a shorter Kimono than Kanna, but their both mostly white, and Ranma I could likely throw together a half decent costume out of my own closet.
AN will be fun. I hope. Got the T4's from work yesterday. Yay tax time!
Brain food apparently gives me hiccups. *just noticed this*
I'm actually finding a number of songs I like in english again. Wonder of wonders. I wish that websites I like would stop crashing or not updating, or whatever they end up doing that tends to annoy me. I like dancy music. I hope we all still plan on going to a karaoke bar. That will be fun.
When I was unexpectedly shipped to the states for two weeks (got back just before the weekend) it was because of the news that my dad, who had been in a coma for three weeks after falling onto a cement floor on his head from 12 feet up at work, was not expected to live past the 4th week.
Imagine my surprise when I get there, not 24 hours after waking up, and having my mother at my door at 1 in the afternoon, saying 'you're flying to Detroit in the morning' because my dad may not be around for another week, and he's got his eyes open, and he's moving around. He couldn't talk to me, and he couldn't actually 'see' anything, but it's a far cry from croaking at the end of the week. By the time I left, he was breathing on his own, and his vision was actually keeping track of people.
I know he's still far away from well, but it's better than it could have been. Far better.
I got a really pretty silk jacket while I was away though. I wanted the whole damn store though. China Capital Arts. I want it. All of it.
Ok. Must sleep now. Been up far too late the last few nights.
Just watch, I'll be up for another hour or two now...¬_¬;;
Night, I'm off for that roller-coaster that is me trying to get to sleep.
