Dean had done this really stupid thing where he went after a Djinn. Without Sam. Wasn't one of his highest points in life and reality, but I think he knows that now. He didn't really think about it too much at the time I take it. His one wish that was always in his mind, was where Mary didn't die. That They weren't hunters. That meant? Sam went to Stanford, he met me, and most of all what's important? I was alive. And he said I looked damned good too. He said I was radiant. It was his mom's birthday and we were all there. Dean however was with someone named Carmen and was settled down. First of all. Carmen? Ugly name. No offense to anyone out there named that, but seriously. Turns out what was funny is she was the model for his favorite beer. Go figure. That really is Dean Winchester's "dream girl"
He chose to come back. To us. To his family. To Ally, me, the real Sam, and everyone else that he cares about on this planet. He came back for Kat, who we ALL know he loves like...completely. Hello. Dean Winchester? You're not that slick and you're not that good at hiding the fact that you're completely into her. The point to all this I guess is that we all want something that's out of our reach and by wishing for these things, we sometimes lose our way to what's really important. If Dean hadn't figured out that he was in a alternate reality, in his dream world and that nothing was real...we would have lost him. And as much as a pain in the ass he can be. I love him. He's already like my brother and I don't know what life would be like without his smartass mouth around. We all want something that we can't have. That's unobtainable. But in the end, we always get what we want, even if it's in a round about way.
