And now for a happier trip report!
Day 1: Problems Solved With Money
Joined the tour my coworker found. Have credit card, will travel! We spent the day doing a mini tour of Accra before the main tour tomorrow. First stop: hand-carved caskets. But not just any old caskets. These are carved into shape representative of the deceased's status or profession. The pictures have to be seen to be believed! After fighting traffic on a road under refurbishment and a lot of people watching, the next stop was an artisans gallery. They sell stuff. Lots of stuff. Gorgeous art and crafts, oh and musical instruments. Wood xylophone, you're all mine!
