..would it help if I said that maybe a tiny part of the reason he did it was for Cissy? She gets quiet and sulky when she's upset. He knows that. So pushing the issue gets it resolved faster, and he gets a useful partner again.

Also he doesn't think Aerith comes close to Cissnei and that Zack is an idiot...but you didn't hear me say that.
