Busy!! :o
Good lord, work has been BUSY. Monday's are worst of all, we come in after the mail drop on Saturday and Monday, and have like 650+ items to complete that day. My average work schedule is about 9 - 11 hours a day, plus my hour lunch... the checks are nice, but that's a lot of time at work ;_;
At least I enjoy my job and like my coworkers... :D
So yeah, like, when I'm not writing 20 letters a day and stuffing envelopes, or processing redemptions instead of transfers (GNAAH!), I get to help the OMC folks see what we do at DST. One of the new Fund operation managers came to visit us, and I was asked to demonstrate some of our correspondence processing and give an impromptu presentation of the legal manual. It was kind of fun to be put on the spot with a manager asking me strange questions about how-this-that-or-the-other is processed. Yay ^^;
Meanwhile... the programming class is taking shape. I've got the schedules for regular classes, Saturday classes, and we're having a lunch/meeting in February. And it hit me... I could easily find out who made it through the test and interviews by looking at the e-mail distribution list...
There are 8 people on it... out of the original 60-some-odd that took the aptitude test... and the 20-sumthin that went to the interviews after that.
It makes me very giddy to be part of the select group ^_______^
