More Art!
I've been on a drawing binge today! And yesterday! And hell, this whole week has been loaded with art! Great fun!!1!
It will come to an end. But until it does, I mean to enjoy it, yes I do. :)
Possessed:
I read a short story by Tanith Lee a while back that involved ancient demons that had bird heads. There was a tragic, angsty story about a young bride and her husband who carried the demon in his blood.
The story left quite an image on my mind, and I finally took an afternoon to finish it. This is somewhere between a refined doodle and finished drawing... I didn't use a lot of care in proportions or anything, just went with what came out of my head. I may turn this into a painting. Eventually.
The first sketch, which was completed a while back. Painter, using fat chalk and charcoal.
The next step, which started with a black surface. More Painter, this time using either the scratchboard rake or brush.
After a couple of more hours of work... almost done!
And the final piece!
