I was initially attracted to this novel by its striking cover and as it was offered at a low price elected to give it a try. I was quickly drawn into the story and while at first I felt that the characters were drawn from central casting - especially the troubled yet brilliant Erika - they were soon fleshed out and I became more and more engrossed to find out how they fared as well as how the murder was solved.
I did have a fairly good idea of whodunit though that did not spoil the unveiling. I certainly will be keeping an eye out for more adventures as this was a solid police procedural.
