My Reading Week 17th - 23rd November 2014
No progress with Judith Mackrell 's Flappers this week as I switched to listening to Sophie Kinsella's Mini Shopaholic though also read on my Kindle as well. I got through 270 pages
In addition, I read Sophie Hannah's The Monogram Murders (374 pages) and Julie Myerson's The Quickening (274 pages) and David Baldacci's Simple Genius (433 pages) . I also fit in another two of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary e-shorts: Charlie Higson's The Beast of Babylon (40 pages) and Derek Landy's The Mystery of the Haunted Cottage (54 pages).
My audiobook-in-the-car is Elizabeth Peters' The Lion in the Valley, listening to the equivalent of 72 pages
My page count for the week was 1,517.
I have reviews outstanding for .The Quickening, Simple Genius, The Beast of Babylon and The Mystery of the Haunted Cottage.
This coming week I hope to return to Flappers after I finish Mini Shopaholic. I also have John Boyne's The Absolutist for late November library reading group and Jay Rayner's The Apologist for early December reading group.
