Book 203: A Cruise to Die For (Alix London #2).
Author: Charlotte and Aaron Elkins, 2013.
Genre: Mystery. Crime Fiction. Art.
Other Details: ebook. 256 pages.

This should be the cushiest job Alix London’s ever had. Surrounded by art and wealth and the sun-drenched Greek isles, she’s aboard a sumptuous mega-yacht with no responsibilities save the occasional lecture to the guests of her temporary employer, Panos Papadakis, one of the world's richest men. But there’s a catch: Papadakis has long been suspected of being at the centre of a multi-million dollar Ponzi scheme and Alix is actually there as an undercover operative of FBI special agent Ted Ellesworth, a member of the Bureau’s Art Crime Team. They hope Alix can gather the inside information they need to finally put the cagey Papadakis away. ... - synopsis from publisher's website.

The second in this series proved entertaining and enjoyable; very much a modern cosy with just the right amount of danger for its protagonist and a hint of romance.

However, I do have a quibble and that is a continuity error between the final two chapters. It is so glaring an error I have no idea how it passed the editorial process. Maybe it is part of the legacy of the novel having two authors that someone did not check closely enough. For anyone who wants to check it involves Alix's travel home. I ended up reading the last few chapters a few times to see if I had missed anything. I hadn't. Still quite a minor issue and I plan to read the next in the series and hope there is another in the works,
