Life got in the way last week and the only complete novel I read was Howard Jacobson's J: a Novel (328 pages).
I made a start on three other books: Abraham Verghese's Cutting for Stone (180 pages), Adam Nevill's Last Days (311 pages) and Karin Slaughter's Cop Town (172 pages).
On the Kindle I continued with Aaron and Charlotte Elkins' A Dangerous Talent, reading 81 pages.
For my audiobook-in-the-car I continued with Elizabeth Peters' The Curse of the Pharaohs, listening to the equivalent of 72 pages.
My page count for the week was 1,144.
I have reviews outstanding for Hour Game, How to be Both, and J: a Novel.
This coming week I plan to finish the above three books and continue reading for the Man Booker shadowing group.
